Oh well...

I didn't get the job. It's sad, but I guess I'll have to move on to other projects. In the meantime I will try to have my script, The Key and The Guardian, ready for the screenwriting competition at the Austin Film Festival. Then keep on writing my next two story ideas, the first one a fantasy story and the second one is a biographycal story. Whose? Well that's gonna be a little secret at this moment. Let's say it will take a LOT of research to do, but I feel this is a story that must be told. I just hope to be the one to tell it.

Well, this is it for now. Tonight is FNM (Friday Night Magic) and tomorrow the weather looks great and the wind seems to be lovely.

I guess I'll fly my kite.

The Waiting Game

Well, it's been a very interesting week so far. During one of the Austin Screenwriters Group meeting The President of the ASG told me that there was a video game company looking for fantasy writers. I looked up the information and I decided to try. I found out that the company is one of my favorites and they are well know for their RPGs. I e-mailed the contact for that company and I recieved a response from him asking for some writing samples and it included the usual paperwork for submitting those samples.

It's been a week now since I sent those samples and no word yet. I hope this is good news.

One thing for sure is that this would be a dream job. The idea that I can create something that millions of people can enjoy is simply outstanding! I believe that this could be a great opportunity for me and it will be a step closer for me to make my dreams of being a screenwriter and filmmaker come true.

The sad thing is that, like many people, I hate to wait.

In the meantime I guess I'll keep reading comics, playing games and start using my imagination to work on my re-write.

Hmmmm I wonder how that Marvel Zombies comic series is doing? Sounds like fun!
